One of the most important Chinese wedding traditions is the door games , playful traditions during the morning of the wedding where the groom and his groomsmen must pass humorous challenges to “rescue” the bride from her room. These games symbolise overcoming obstacles to prove his love, commitment, and wit – while fostering laughter and bonding between both families.
Chinese Wedding Tea ceremony
In Chinese culture, the tea ceremony is a significant tradition for the bride and groom to pay respect and show gratitude towards their parents for all the years of nurture and love. In turn, the family will bless the newlyweds as they marry as husband and wife and the couple is then formally introduced into each other’s family.

We organise to meet up in person. This is the part where I get to know your incredible love story. We go through ideas or requests you have for your ceremony. Then we fill out the “Notice of Intended Marriage”” This is the main legal form for your marriage.

Pricing Structure
Base fee
$800 plus GST
- Standard wedding ceremony (Elopement, Vows Renewal, Bespoke Civil Wedding Ceremony, Legal Signing)
$400 plus GST
- Chinese wedding Tea ceremony
$1000 plus GST
- Wedding Reception MC
$1980 plus GST
- Package with the above services
Additional fee
Rehearsal $200 plus GST
Sound/PA system rental ( for the ceremony only) $200 plus GST Custom vow writing $200
Travel beyond Sydney city, like the Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains etc,$350 fee plus accommodation.
